These are a few of my favorite things...

Going through photos today, these are a few that make me smile.

Like most of you, I LOVE taking photos. My phone is ALWAYS loaded to the brink with photos. Family photos. Out and About photos. Food photos. Project photos. SO. MANY. PHOTOS.

First up, a lovely, rusty door knob with chippy paint.

A beautiful baby dress and a small heart shaped cookie cutter. Baby dresses are THE best!

Pitted chrome airplane hood ornament and aqua paint. SWOON!

Lace. Crochet cotton doilies. ALL. GOOD. THINGS. My go-to in my Sew Messy Monkey creations and many mixed-media artworks. I have PILES of this. My favorites are the pieces and selections from the Paris Flea Markets and Brocantes. The more worn and stained, the better.

Mother Nature. She has a way about her. Here is a dried leaf creating a base for a beautiful, clear resin casting of REAL dragonfly wings. Love that reflection juxtaposed with the leaf.

Vintage scales. Ironstone. Bird nests. All wonderful.

Enamelware. Glass honey bottle. Metal roller skate. Dried flora. Somethings just look great displayed together.

Super big, heavy-duty, rusty chain. These links have a story to tell, I’m sure.

Bottles. Perfect for flowers. Great for mixed-media. Always a favorite for displays.

Old keys. You can NEVER have too many keys.

Maui Travel. This AMAZING rooster is by far one of the best photos in my collection. So perfect.
