RMS Artisan Team Member - Anne Freund

Hey everyone, say Hello to our featured RMS Artisan Team Member, Anne Freund.

I first met Anne at an Art is You retreat, hosted by Sallianne McClelland, in Petaluma, Ca back in 2015. I was a vendor on art night, debuting my newly released Found product line - the reproduction resin keyholes, escutcheons, baby dresses, and gloves. Anne happened to be a vendor of her Gilded Gypsies collection as well, and we hit it off immediately. She and I could talk shop and art for hours and hours.

She was so generous and gifted me a handful of antique military uniform buttons, which I have used in my own artworks. She is a very kind soul and super creative. If you ever get to meet her in person, read one of her books, or take a workshop with her, do. You will be inspired by her words, her eye for detail, and her friendly personality.

Anne was a perfect choice when it came time to select my first Artisan Team. We share many interests, including our love of vintage glampers, and buses! Mine a 1986 GMC Skoolie and hers a Classic PINK VW bus! I am honored that she is with us, and cannot wait to explore what is yet to come.

Anne is the publisher and editor of Evoke Magazine and author of the book The Gilded Journey: Nurturing the Artist Within. As the owner of The Gilded Gypsies her work has been featured in Where Women Create, Jewelry Affaire, Belle Armoire Jewelry, Prairie Style, Romantic Style and Vintage Trailer Magazines as well as in the book She Sheds. Anne is a clinical psychologist who specializes in combat related post-traumatic stress disorder and author of the book Taming the Fire Within: Life After War.
